Nozomi was used to it by now. New world, new threats, new mission. But, an academy? And she’s being asked to become a Pretty Cure again. A new one.

Oh, well, can’t be too hard, right? Put away the old powers and bring out the books, it’s time for school! And it seems quite a few people look up to the upperclassman, yes?

Rin blinked. "It's a internet conferencing app. Nozomi, it's 2020, how long have you been away?"

“I don’t know anything from since we formed the team.” Nozomi said. She sighed. “Rin, I’m... I’m not the real Nozomi. I was created by a computer program...”

Rin blinked, and then grinned, nudging Nozomi lightly on the shoulder. "Eh, so what? Nozomi is Nozomi. You expected us to just tell you you're not as valid as any other Nozomi? We've gone through this before with our Dark duplicates, and our Nozomi accepted her. If she was here, she'd say the same thing."

Just like that? Just so simple? The girl babbles something about being uncertain about something before dissolving into tears again, dropping to her knees and covering her face.

All those fears she had for years? Totally unwarranted.

Rin chuckled, pulling Nozomi into a hug and burying her head in her stomach. "There there you big crybaby," she said softly, rubbing her hair gently. "It must have been tough for you huh?"

Nozomi nodded slowly, pulling back a bit to look up at Rin. "I always thought you guys would think differently of me o-or hate me..."

There's another whimper before Nozomi hugs Rin again and cries once more. "I love you, Rin. I love all of you! I missed you all so much!"

"Nozomi you really had a lot of trouble over the years huh?" said Rin, rubbing her friend's head. "Cry it out. You've had a tough time."

And Nozomi does so before she's finally all cried out, just clinging to Rin protectively. "I'm... I'm sorry, Rin. I really am a crybaby..."

"Yeah you are. But we love you just the same." Pulling Nozomi to her feet, she wiped her tears with a thumb before saying, "There, all your tears are finally spent. Feel better? We'll get you your favorite cake. They serve it here at the local store."

Nozomi gave Rin a wobbly smile as her tears were wiped away. "R-Really? They do? Oh, I haven't had that in so long...!"
